Intensive Russian Attacks Eliminate Electricity Throughout Ukraine's Capital

Throughout the evening, Russian missile and drone strikes have caused electricity outages in multiple districts of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

Nine people were hurt while inhabitants in the city's east were left without electricity and faced problems to water systems, according to municipal leaders.

Meanwhile, a minor was killed in a separate assault in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southern area, as reported by local officials.

Moscow has increased attacks on electrical systems over the past few days, while the country's government has demanded "concrete actions" from allies to increase pressure on Russia.

"What's needed is not window dressing but firm measures - from the America, Europe and the Group of Seven - in delivering protection systems and applying penalties," mentioned in a social media post.

Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and over thirty rockets targeted Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such assaults as "cynical and calculated" and against "essential services" as temperatures become colder.

The energy minister said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and technical staff were laboring to repair systems.

A wave of strikes damaged electrical systems and residential structures in the capital.

Multiple people injured in the strikes on the city have been hospitalized, as confirmed by city authorities.

Regional authorities said the metropolitan region experienced heavy assaults overnight. A young boy was killed and several individuals were hurt.

The assaults come after evenings of bombing campaigns in the territory, sections of which are occupied by invading troops.

All of Ukraine is on alert for advanced weapon attacks, which are tougher to detect.

Government officials told the media that Moscow was intentionally trying to destroy the country's energy grid, with strikes already affecting fuel infrastructure.

Authorities confirmed technical personnel and officials were anticipating more assaults.
